Intern
Are you wondering what a job in a strategy consultancy is like and whether it is right for you? Well, why not try an internship?
You will be right in the middle of things from the very first day of your internship, working as part of a professional team of consultants for one of our clients. You will receive guidance and training from experienced consultants and your personal mentor.
And an internship with NeoFocus is not just about plenty of experience - it is also a lot of fun! NeoFocus offers internship opportunities to candidates in their last year for a minimum duration of six months

Analyst
As an Analyst, your work will contribute to your project team right from the start. You will be exposed to a wide range of projects, from which you will gain a broad range of industrial and functional experience. You will develop first-hand knowledge of critical business issues while improving your client-management and problem-solving skills. Typically, you will:

  • conduct interviews within the client organization
  • use innovative methods to conduct and gather market research
  • build models to analyze data
  • communicate results orally and in writing to NeoFocus project teams and clients.

As you acquire successful experience on projects, you will be given greater autonomy and responsibilities.

Consultant
Consultants are a key element of the NeoFocus organization. They work closely with clients to help them better understand competitive issues, develop strategies for change, and achieve business results.
As a consultant, you will develop strong expertise in:

  • quantitative analysis
  • interviewing skills
  • conceptualizing and communicating strategic solutions
  • client relationship skills
  • teamwork

As you demonstrate you have mastered consulting skills and shown leadership potential, you will move on to new challenges and responsibilities. You will:

  • structure client issues and break them down into work plans
  • generate ideas and provide conceptual frameworks to guide research and analysis
  • manage a project stream on time and within budget, and communicate the progress to senior NeoFocus colleagues
  • manage a team of consultants
  • keep one eye on the big picture and the other on the details
  • work closely with clients.

You will also contribute to business development and external relations: you may contribute to recruiting, writing client proposals, or writing articles for internal and external audiences.

Project manager
NeoFocus project managers are proven professionals with track records as outstanding consultants and successful team leaders. They have demonstrated exceptional intellectual, organizational, and client-management skills.
As a project manager with NeoFocus, you will gradually take on larger project-management responsibilities, eventually directing client engagements and generating ideas for new proposals.
You will:

  • be responsible for project results and budgets and report directly to the Partner in charge
  • guide your team by establishing the conceptual framework and providing key ideas
  • develop your team by assigning them tasks and giving them feedback
  • be the interface to our clients, and will build up long-term relationships with them

You will also contribute to the internal research of NeoFocus to the continuously improve our tools, methods and expertise. You will be responsible for sharing with your colleagues insights gained from work on client projects.
